Our Experience

Our experience spans a diverse group of assignments including conventional and unconventional reserves across North America and select international locations, specialty projects such as valuation of Deepwater Gulf of Mexico assets, stochastic analysis of development data for litigation support, and protocols for measurement and containment of wellbore fugitive methane release contributing to CO2e - Carbon Dioxide Equivalent Greenhouse Gas.

North America

In North America we have worked in the major petroleum producing basins including offshore California, Cook Inlet, the North Slope, the onshore and offshore Gulf Coast, the mid-continent oil province, and the Permian Basin.

We have completed projects in unconventional resource plays including the Williston Basin, the Anadarko Basin, the Appalachian Basin, the Los Angeles Basin, and the Mississippian play across Oklahoma.

Our engineers have performed reserve estimates and commodity production forecasts for subsurface accumulations of brine and other valued in situ minerals.

Greenhouse Gas Recognition and Mitigation

Our engineers have experience in Carbon Credit determinations based on CO2e mitigation, and Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 Greenhoouse Gas emission recognition.

Our professionals have experience using state-of-the-art technology to construct numerical engineering models tailored to specific situations including qualitative and quantitative uncertainty analysis. For example, our engineers have constructed models to analyze the CO2e Greenhouse Gases - all Scopes - resulting from natural gas processing plant operations, and we have studied Gaussian Plume distribution of fugitive methane leaking from idle natural gas wells.

International Experience

Our international experience includes engineering and geoscience assignments for onshore and offshore New Zealand, the Northwest Shelf of Australia, reservoir engineering studies for fields such as; Malampaya in the Philippines, Sangu in Bangladesh, various offshore fields in Southeast Sumatra, Northwest Java, and prospect evaluations offshore Palau and Papua New Guinea.

Verde engineers have performed evaluations for assets in locations such as; China - Bohai Bay, Changbei, and Xijiang, Offshore Brazil, West Africa - Niger Delta and Cameroon, and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
